MIDLAND, Mich., May 13, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Alden B. Dow Museum of Science and Art at Midland Center for the Arts is proud to announce the opening of a major traveling exhibition, "Be the Dinosaur." Opening on June 9, this exhibition is a groundbreaking fusion of state-of-the-art video game technology and traditional exhibits featuring dinosaur fossil reconstructions, a paleontology field station, a Safari Jeep "tour" for little ones, and more!
Visitors will use interactive learning modules to explore great mysteries of paleontology in a completely interactive way!
- What was a day in the life of a dinosaur like?
- Did they hunt alone or in packs?
- How did they stay healthy?
- What other creatures shared their world?
- What can fossil evidence tell us about the lives of extinct animals?
Museum admission is $9 for adults; $6 for ages 4 to 14; FREE to ABDM Members, ASTC Members, and ages 3 and under.
The Museum is located in Midland Center for the Arts, 1801 W. Saint Andrews Road, Midland, MI. Museum hours are Tuesday – Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Thursdays until 8 p.m. The Museum is closed June 27 through July 6. For more information, visit www.mcfta.org/bethedino.
