AwoX, the Smart Home leader, will be demonstrating its newest software and hardware for the digital home at IBC 2014, Amsterdam September 12 to 16 on booth 2.A27 (Hall 2, Booth A27).
AwoX will introduce its latest software development kits for playback oflive HD PayTV channels in multiple rooms from a cable, satellite or terrestrial gateway. AwoX software development kits allows both to share live PayTV content received from Analog or Digital broadcast sources, and to playback those live PayTV streams wherever needed set-top-boxes, television sets, smartphone or tablets. The technology follows the strict guidelines put forward by several digital home standards, and in particular DLNA (CVP-2), and RVU. AwoX SDKs allow manufacturers of television, set-top-box, smartphone and tablet to implement both standards without any compromise. Ported on several operating systems, chipset and security framework, AwoX modular SDKs allow choosing the necessary pieces for the available footprint.
In addition, AwoX regular SDKs for streaming free content will also be demonstrated inside applications available for operator under their own label, and providing a unique compliance with the television ecosystem.
AwoX will also demonstrate its range of Smart Home equipment:
- Video: StriimSTICK, a HDMI dongle to get your TV connected to your preferred video services
- Audio: StriimSOUND, a powerful wireless speaker and StriimLINK, an adapter to connect your analog stereo system
- Hybrid Lighting: its award winning set of light bulbs extended: StriimLIGHT WiFi, bulb and music speaker; CamLIGHT, bulb and pan-tilt camera; and AromaLIGHT, bulb and fragrance diffuser
Available for operator to deploy inside their home services, AwoX smart home equipment feature versatility, and ease of use.
AwoX will also demonstrate on partner booths:
- UPnP Cloud capabilities inside AwoX StriimLIGHT WiFi on UPnP booth (Hall 14, booth L17)
- Implementation of DLNA CVP-2 Server and Player on DLNA booth (Hall 14, booth L22)
Last, AwoX DLNA will also be featured inside Neotion DVBeacon, a PayTV headless gateway for SmartTV clients(Hall 4, booth B53).
