Looking back on an amazing and eventful 2014
The past 12 months was a very busy year for Dirty Water Records, with both the record label and the club night running full throttle. There were too many highlights at the club to mention them all, but special mention has to go out to three nights: February's 'Winter Dance Party' (apologies to Buddy, Richie and the Big Bopper) featuring three of the label's stars: The Dustaphonics, MFC Chicken and King Salami & the Cumberland Three; the return visit by Kid Congo Powers & the Pink Monkey Bird; and, most recently, a return visit by the legendary Fleshtones.

We're very proud of the label's 2014 releases. Label stalwarts the Revellions, Dustaphonics, Muck and the Mires and MFC Chicken all delivered stunning new full length albums, and we are thrilled with our four new signings: freakbeat legends The Thanes; Sir Bald Diddley's brilliant garage band, The Kneejerk Reactions, the sixties R&B/beat genius of Copenhagen band, The Youth; and French teenage garage-punks, The Arrogants. The latter group also tore up the Dirty Water Club on Bastille Day, 14 July, winning over new fans in London as they did so.
Looking forward to an even busier and bigger 2015
The forthcoming year is going to bring a lot more to the table. New signings Oh! Gunquit and Atomic Suplex have great new albums ready to press in January and March respectively, while MFC Chicken has a great pair of singles coming soon too. Plus there will be lots more that we are unable to reveal just yet.

The club has also seen some original 60s performers, such as The Monks, ? and the Mysterians, Kim Fowley, Sky Saxon, GONN, Michael Davis of the MC5 and more grace its stage and their in-house record label, Dirty Water Records, is one of the leading Garage/Beat/(real) R&B labels in the world.
