Analyst Update: Forward Guidance, Financial Results, New Investment, Acquisition Deal, and New Offerings

U.S. stocks closed lower on Monday as investors turned cautious ahead of the Fed meeting, which begins today. The NASDAQ Composite was down 0.63% to finish at 5,060.25, the S&P 500 slipped 0.41% to 2108.92, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average lost 0.23% to end the session at 18,037.97. European stocks gained on Monday as Greece considered reshuffling its debt negotiators. Germany's DAX 30 jumped 1.93%; France's CAC 40 rose 1.30%, and London's FTSE 100 advanced 0.47% on Monday. Meanwhile, Asian stock markets mostly gained on Monday amid surge in mining stocks in Australia and emanating news on possible reforms in China. The Shanghai Composite Index, Australia's S&P ASX and Hong Kong's Hang Seng index all closed higher on Monday.
Yodlee, Inc. (Yodlee) ), a leading technology and applications platform powering dynamic innovation for digital financial services in the cloud, on April 16, 2015, announced that it will schedule a conference call to review its first quarter 2015 results (ended March 31, 2015) on May 7, 2015 at 2:00 pm PT.
Valmont Industries (Valmont), on April 22, 2015, announced its first quarter results and a restructuring plan. The Company reported first quarter sales of $670.4 million, down from $751.7 million, in the same period of 2014. Also, net operating income fell by 41.5% YoY, to $57.7 million in Q1, which also reflects a 53% declined operating income in the Utility Support Structures Segment due to lower volumes, competitive pricing and a strong dollar.
Renren Inc. (Renren), a leading real-name social networking internet platform in China, on April 16, 2015, announced that it has filed its annual report on Form 20-F for the year ended December 31, 2014 with the Securities and Exchange Commission (the "SEC").
According to a report published by Bloomberg on April 24, 2015, Comcast Corp. has dropped its $45.2 billion deal to buy Time Warner Cable Inc., on Friday, officially pulling the plug, saying the deal had been structured in a way that if the U.S. government didn't agree, the companies could walk away.
Cablevision Systems (Cablevision) on Friday announced "Cord Cutter" packages that include a free digital antenna and access to its Optimum WiFi network, as per an article on Yahoo finance. The cheapest offering, for about $35 a month, includes 5 megabit-per-second Internet downloads, a complementary Mohu digital antenna that retails for $70 and access to the Company's public Wi-Fi hotspots.
