Dionne Motal Appointed Civitas Senior Living First Vice President of Human Resources

FORT WORTH, Texas, Dec. 16, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Civitas Senior Living, one of the fastest-growing senior living management companies in Texas, today announced the hiring of Dionne Motal as Vice President of Human Resources. Civitas President Wayne Powell, made the announcement.

Dionne Motal has a long career in human resources and has specialized in the healthcare sector since 2000.  Previously, she led a district based human resource team at Sava Senior Care and served as the Senior Vice President of Skilled Healthcare prior to their merger with Genesis Healthcare Systems.    

Motal said the new position at Civitas is critical to the company's continued growth.

As the Vice President of Human Resources, Motal will run the full spectrum of human resource duties; strengthening policies and procedures of Civitas' communities, providing a formalized structure for company benefits, compensation, employee relations, compliance, policy interpretation, as well as recruiting and retention initiatives. 

Motal holds a bachelor's degree in business management and certifications from both the Human Resources Certification Institute and the Society for Human Resource Management.  A resident of the Houston area, her new position will allow her to work both remotely and on site.
