Dimension Data Raises More Than $90,000 for the Multiple Sclerosis Society Through Participation in Annual Bike MS: City to Shore Ride
The 150-mile ride is a Dimension Data tradition, raising more than $200,000 over three consecutive years, demonstrating the company's global commitment to corporate social responsibility
NEW YORK, Oct. 4, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Dimension Data, the $5.8 billion global specialist IT solutions and services provider, announced today that it raised more than $90,000 for the National Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Society as a result of its participation in the Bike MS: City to Shore Ride, which took place September 29-30, 2012. The company has raised more than $200,000 through its participation in Bike MS rides over the past three years as part of its Heads, Hearts & Hands Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program.

During this year's Bike MS: City to Shore Ride, more than 7,000 cyclists rode 150 miles round trip from Cherry Hill, NJ, to Ocean City, NJ over two days. Dimension Data employees, family and friends joined this year's team, which included 68 riders and 28 volunteers. Dimension Data exceeded its fundraising goals for this year's event, raising the second largest amount by a corporation, further emphasizing its commitment to finding a cure for this debilitating illness.
