Dilip Krishna Joins Deloitte's Governance, Regulatory & Risk Strategies Practice
Addition strengthens Deloitte's experienced team of risk architecture and technology infrastructure solutions professionals serving the financial services industry
NEW YORK, Feb. 20, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Deloitte, the largest professional services organization in the United States, has strengthened its risk technology services offering to the financial services industry with the addition of Dilip Krishna, who joins the practice as a director with Deloitte & Touche LLP. He will be based in New York.
Krishna, skilled in risk information architecture and data management end-to-end, has a deep understanding of the business and risk management process, including 20 years of experience serving the financial services industry. He joins a team of Deloitte professionals focused on building risk architecture/technology infrastructure solutions, including the delivery of core services such as risk systems architecture, metadata management, and risk and capital data management.

Krishna previously served as a partner with Teradata Corporation leading its professional services team for banking and capital markets in the northeast. In 2011, Krishna provided expert testimony to the U.S. Committee on Financial Services on TARP transparency and the implementation of the Office of Financial Research within the U.S. Treasury Department. Specifically, Krishna has urged the use of tried-and-true data management and analytic technologies to make governmental oversight more efficient and effective.
He was director of risk management and capital markets, and led risk management consulting for Teradata Americas in the U.S. and Canada. He joined Teradata in 2005.
From 2002 to 2004, Krishna was chief architect of the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce's (CIBC) Basel II program. He was also previously employed at TD Securities and CIBC World Markets where he implemented trading platforms for various products. Krishna received a bachelor's of technology degree in engineering physics from the Indian Institute of Technology in Bombay, India. He also earned a master's of science degree in biomedical engineering from Ohio State University. Krishna is a Chartered Financial Analyst. His professional affiliations include the Global Association of Risk Professionals, the Professional Risk Managers International Association, and the Chartered Financial Analyst Institute.
