Digital Sandbox Releases Risk Analysis Center 5
Software Platform Creates Comprehensive View of Potential Public Safety Risks
MCLEAN, Va., May 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Public safety risk management leader Digital Sandbox has released a new version of its flagship Risk Analysis Center software platform, Risk Analysis Center 5 (RAC 5). Boasting a series of data management, monitoring, and collaboration enhancements, the RAC 5 promises to provide homeland security and public safety risk managers with previously unavailable awareness of the natural and human-generated risks their jurisdictions might face. Furthermore, it will offer heightened ability to coordinate prevention and response.
"The RAC 5 now supports the full decision lifecycle of public safety management," explained Bryan Ware, Digital Sandbox founder and CEO. "It's not merely an improvement on the previous software. It's an integration of capability and service support that really constitutes a complete risk readiness solution."
According to Ware, RAC 5 capability supersedes the power of Digital Sandbox's earlier risk management offering, Site Profiler, because it enables end-to-end management of the risk readiness cycle. Safety and security professionals can collect data, review its quality, and more easily integrate findings with external emergency response systems. They are also able to view real-time incidents and events in the context of infrastructure threat and population vulnerability.
"The RAC 5 also provides critical internal collaboration capability," said Ware. "Clients can share insights and submit queries directly to Digital Sandbox risk analysts and consultants from within the application itself." An additional advantage includes an improved dashboard interface that communicates a client's overall risk management program status, and details gaps in data, assessment, and preparedness levels.
The ultimate objective, Ware explained, is a jurisdiction's being able to manage a completely inclusive risk-management ecosystem. This means seeing the status of every interest and asset, and being able to best command and coordinate response in the wake of an event. "The RAC 5 is not just a planning tool. It's a coordination tool," he said. "It's the groundbreaking realization of Digital Sandbox's mission to help jurisdictions better mitigate, prepare for, respond to, and recover from the risks they might face, whether at the local, state, or national level."
