"After very successful on-course controlled testing completed by our staff a few weeks ago, we are now ready for live testing with golfers," said Mike Loustalot, President of Digital Caddies. "By doing live testing with everyday golfers at these golf facilities we will be able to solicit valuable feedback and make appropriate changes to the interactive content in real time. This is a very exciting time for everyone involved with the development of our new technology."
Shortly after the successful completion of the testing, the company will begin installing complete systems at customer facilities nationwide. As previously reported, with approximately 20,000 golf courses in North America and over 30,000 worldwide, Digital Caddies has positioned itself to be first to market with its new tablet-based service for golf courses. The new technology will provide rich streaming content and real time distance information to the golfer while also providing valuable information and services to the golf course and with the system being free for qualifying courses, adoption is expected to be rapid.
