Digicel Group, Marriott International and President Clinton Join Haiti's Prime Minister to Announce New Hotel in Port-au-Prince
PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti, Nov. 29, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Together in Port-au-Prince late November 28 to announce a new partnership to build and operate the 173-room Port-au-Prince Marriott Hotel in the capital city are (from left) Denis O'Brien, chairman of Digicel, the ownership group which will design and build the hotel; President Bill Clinton, founder of the William J. Clinton Foundation, instrumental in bringing Digicel and Marriott together; Arne Sorenson, president and COO of Marriott International, which will operate the hotel under the company's flagship Marriott Hotels & Resorts brand; and Haiti's Prime Minister Dr. Garry Conille.
