Dickey's Partners With the Raleigh Rescue Mission for Downtown Raleigh Festival of Hope

RALEIGH, N.C., May 5, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- GMW Carolina, Inc. that locally owns and operates the Triangle Dickey's Barbecue Pit location in Cary, Durham and Raleigh is participating in the annual Downtown Raleigh Festival of Hope.

Raleigh Rescue Mission, located at 314 E. Hargett Street, will host the Downtown Raleigh Festival of Hope for the community, while also celebrating 50 years of service to the homeless and poor in the Raleigh area.

This is a free outdoor event for the whole family to enjoy carnival games, crafts, face painting, hot dogs, barbecue, international food tasting and local music.

The event will be held Saturday, May 7, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the area surrounding the Mission.

Donations of paper products such as toilet paper, napkins and paper towels to help the Mission build a "Paper Palace" during the event are appreciated.

This is Raleigh Rescue Mission's way of saying thanks to the community for their support all year round.

Dickey's has donated a portion of the barbecue that will be served.

Dickey's donation will be mixed with other area barbecue for variety!
