Arkansas Welcomes Country's Fastest Growing Barbecue Chain Next Week
SILOAM SPRINGS, Ark., July 15, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Por Yang decides to embark on a new adventure and open his own Dickey's Barbecue Pit restaurant in Arkansas.
"I saw the potential for Dickey's to grow exponentially and with the delicious barbecue offerings, I felt it necessary to share with the whole community," said Yang.
This is the first franchise opportunity for Yang, and the second Dickey's Barbecue Pit for Arkansas. There is currently one operating in Lowell.
"It will bring the community together and allow everyone to be more involved especially with the community board at Dickey's," said franchisee Yang.
The restaurant will open late next week at 1951 Hwy 412 East in Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
Texas-based Dickey's Barbecue Pit opened in 1941 and began franchising in 1994. Dickey's Barbecue Pit is well-known for its pit-smoked signature meats, complimentary ice cream and the big yellow cups.
