DALLAS, Dec. 2, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- On December 3rd Dickey's Barbecue Pit will be a sponsor of the Spartan Race.  They will cater the event with their delicious slow-smoked barbecue and the corporate office will compete in the world's leading obstacle race series.   

The world renowned Spartan Race is a series of obstacle courses ranging from minimal to intense challenges. According to its website, "Participants will confront obstacles ranging from extreme to absurd that gain their inspiration from sources as varied as Spartan training, Navy SEAL training and American Gladiators."
