Dickey's Barbecue Pit Moves Into Its New Location in Folsom

FOLSOM, Calif., Jan. 16, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Dickey's Barbecue Pit has moved into its new home in Folsom. Ray Snook, franchise owner of this location signed a lease for this new location.

"We are most excited about using our skills and enthusiasm to build a Dickey's store that we can be proud to own and run," said local franchise owner Snook. "We have a vision and a goal to open a second store within a year and a third within three years. We look forward to build a successful chain of stores with Dickey's."

This new 2,200 square foot store is located at 1016 Riley Street, Suites 4 and 5. Dickey's will be taking the place of the former Steve's Pizza. Behind the location is a Wal-Mart and across the street is Kohl's. According to Snook, he hopes to open March or April of this year.

Dickey's Barbecue Pit opened in 1941 in Dallas, Texas and began franchising in 1994. Dickey's has 204 locations in 36 states nationwide.
