Dickey's Barbecue Pit Hosts Day of Giveaways for Customers

LAS VEGAS, May 3, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- America's largest quick-serve barbecue restaurant will hold their Customer Appreciation event on Friday, May 6th at the Las Vegas location serving up one dollar big barbecue sandwiches for all.

The event kicks off at 11 a.m. where patrons can enjoy $1 sandwiches and the chance to win a 42" TV until 1 p.m. that afternoon.

The store is located at 7430 Las Vegas Boulevard.

Owner/Operator Jason Rivera opened the franchise location in March 2009.

"It is important to honor our customers and the supportive Las Vegas community. This event is a platform to show our dedication to our loyal customers," he said.

Dickey's encourages all franchise owners to engrain themselves in the surrounding community.

Dickey's is a national brand, but each restaurant is locally owned.

The first Dickey's Barbecue opened in 1941 in Dallas, TX.

The original location is still open for business and Dickey's Barbecue is still owned and operated by the Dickey Family.

Dickey's only began franchising in 1994.  

Now, there are 145 locations in 33 states. The company has 60 more locations in the pipeline to open before the end of 2011.
