Local Franchisees Build Portfolio of Country's Fastest Growing Barbecue Chain
SAN ANTONIO, July 8, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Sandor Gonzalez and his father, Antonio, announce plans to expand their franchise portfolio with two more Dickey's Barbecue Pits, the largest quick-serve barbecue chain in the country.

The locations are at 834 NW Loop 410 and 3107 TPC Parkway which make the second and third Dickey's Barbecue Pit franchise opportunity for the Gonzalez's.

The father and son duo are eager to serve at their newest Dickey's Barbecue Pit location that serves up pit-smoked signature meats, a vast array of home-style sides and complimentary ice cream for every customer.

Texas-based Dickey's Barbecue Pit opened in 1941 and began franchising in 1994.
Dickey's Barbecue Restaurants, Inc. plans to open 70 more franchise locations in 2011, putting its year-end target at 200.
The preparation prior to opening a Dickey's franchise is extensive, ensuring that owner/operators are thoroughly prepared to hit the ground running.

The original Dallas location is still open for business and Dickey's Barbecue Pit is still owned and operated by the Dickey Family.
