Dianne M. Nast To Be Presented With Lifetime Achievement Award

In Ms. Nast's 25 years of experience, she has helped define the practice of civil litigation in anti-trust and mass tort litigation. "I was completely surprised and honored to be selected for this award," said Ms. Nast, thanking her family and colleagues for "the support they have given throughout my career." Ms. Nast will be recognized, along with 24 others, for their impact on Pennsylvania law and the general profession of law.

This award goes to outstanding attorneys based on their distinguishable work both on and off the bench. In 2014, Ms. Nast was named by Judge Matthew F. Kennelly to the Plaintiffs Steering Committee in the national Prescription Testosterone Litigation. She serves as Co-Lead Counsel and Federal-State Liaison and on the Advisory Committee in the Avandia Product Liability Litigation, and is an active Steering Committee member in the Philadelphia-based NFL Concussion Litigation, serving as SubClass Counsel for injured players. She is currently a member of the Plaintiff's Steering Committee in the Xarelto litigation and was appointed to the Executive Committee in the General Motors Ignition Switch Litigation.

Antitrust law is a major focus for Ms. Nast. She currently serves as a member of the Executive Committee in multiple antitrust cases, including In re: Effexor XR Antitrust Litigation, Modafinil Antitrust Litigation, and Mediation Counsel in Skelaxin Antitrust Litigation.  She is also Lead Counsel in the Wellbutrin SR litigation.

For nineteen years, Ms. Nast was a shareholder, officer and director of the Philadelphia law firm, Kohn, Nast & Graf, P.C., founded by Harold E. Kohn, a legend of the anti-trust and class action bar. In 2012, Ms. Nast founded NastLaw LLC in Philadelphia, positioning her firm in a hub of civil litigation in America.
