Ms. Phelps is a leader in handling Ponzi schemes and fraud cases of all kinds, particularly arising out of insolvency situations.  As the co-author of The Ponzi Book: A Legal Resource for Unraveling Ponzi Schemes (published by LexisNexis 2012), with the Honorable Steven Rhodes, United States Bankruptcy Judge for the Eastern District of Michigan, she is a sought after speaker at national and international conferences on the subject of corporate fraud, Ponzi schemes, deepening insolvency and related matters. Ms. Phelps' litigation practice includes the representation of bankruptcy trustees, examiners, SEC and state court receivers, creditors, committees, debtors and other parties arising out financially distressed situations.  She is a member of the board of directors of the National Association of Federal Equity Receivers ("NAFER") and the editor-in-chief of the "Receivership News."
