Through wellness promotions, monetary and product donations, both companies' collective mission is to teach healthy hygiene habits and promote wellness to improve overall health and well-being for all families. Helping Big Brothers Big Sisters mentees (called "Littles") gain confidence through healthy hygiene habits and mentoring relationships will inspire healthier futures and lead kids to become successful young adults.
"Dial has been a company supporting families for over 70 years. We believe that family is a word with many different meanings, different stories and sometimes, different members," said Justin Giouzepis, Vice President, Personal Care Henkel Corporation. "Big Brother Big Sisters aligns with the same messaging and values the brand believes in, and together through the Healthier Futures program we have the power to support families and children together," says Giouzepis. "Dial is not just a family soap, but we are the every family soap, and our decision to work with a partner such as Big Brother Big Sisters that develops positive relationships that have a direct and lasting effect on the lives of young people is one we are very proud of," says Giouzepis.
Dial has committed to donating $100,000 to Big Brothers Big Sisters of America. In addition, Dial Soap will donate Dial products to Big Brothers Big Sisters affiliates across the country in late 2018.
The Healthier Futures campaign doesn't just stop there; Big Brothers Big Sisters of America and Dial have also created a Good Clean Fun Contest encouraging Bigs and Littles to get out there, work together, have a little fun, make a mess and share it! As part of the Healthier Futures program, this contest will allow participants to win Dial Liquid Hand Soap to help clean up the mess! The submission process is live now, and finalist videos will be displayed January 22, 2018 via http://www.dialsoap.com/healthierfutures.
