The Premier of Queensland, Anna Maria Bligh, greeted the delegation this morning at its first official event to promote trade, tourism and the new QANTAS Airways route serving Brisbane and Sydney from DFW.
"We are here to talk about the great travel experience and the convenient connections that DFW Airport offers to Australian passengers," said Fegan. "DFW presents a wide range of natural connections within the continental United States and across Latin America and the Caribbean, along with a world-class terminal featuring outstanding services and shopping."
The DFW Airport air service development mission will promote the new air route between Australia and DFW in meetings with hundreds of business and tourism leaders in Australia. A series of business meetings and events are scheduled for the remainder of the week in both Brisbane and Sydney.
