DFW Airport Partnering with LiftFund to Offer Free Workshops for Small Businesses

DFW AIRPORT, Texas, Sept. 15, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport is partnering with LiftFund to offer technical assistance workshops for small businesses. The workshops will run through the month of September and will provide business education for business owners in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex, including disadvantaged, small, minority and women-owned businesses.

"DFW is committed to creating and sustaining a business environment that helps enable small and emerging businesses to achieve success," said Tamela Lee, vice president of business diversity and development for DFW Airport. "This partnership with LiftFund provides our contractors with resources and opportunities to educate themselves on a range of business topics that will help them accomplish their business goals."

The first workshop, Small Business Tax Workshop, occurred on September 9 with 14 small businesses attending. Additional workshops include:
