DevOps Enterprise Summit Scheduled For October 19-21, 2015 In San Francisco
#DOES15 will double in size from last year's sold-out show, with up to 1,200 attendees participating in the premiere conference focused on helping large enterprises transform their businesses with Continuous Delivery and DevOps
SAN JOSE, Calif., Feb. 17, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Electric Cloud and IT Revolution today jointly announced their upcoming DevOps Enterprise Summit (DOES) is scheduled to take place October 19–21, 2015, in San Francisco. DOES, the premiere conference focused on DevOps and accelerating software delivery within large enterprise environments, expects to double in size (to 1,200) driven by last year's overwhelming attendee response to the real-life, high-impact transformation case studies shared by companies like Disney, Macy's and GE, among others.
Early Bird registration for DOES15 is now open with more than $250 savings. For the latest information, please visit: DevOps Enterprise Summit (http://devopsenterprise.io).
"Last year, we had technology leaders sharing their stories of transformation in large, complex organizations. This year, we will focus on acceleration. Our goal is to bring the best experts, in theory and practice, in the top five problems areas identified last year," said Gene Kim, researcher at IT Revolution and coauthor of the book, "The Phoenix Project: A Novel About IT, DevOps, and Helping Your Business Win." "By doing this, we foster a community of technology leaders who are helping each other successfully adopt DevOps in their own organizations."
DOES15 is a three-day industry event featuring practitioners implementing Agile, DevOps and Continuous Delivery within large organizations across all industry verticals. Keynote presentations will be delivered in the morning sessions each day, and the afternoons will consist of multiple parallel tracks focusing on technology, process, customer stories, sponsored sessions and networking events.
"Continuous Delivery continues to emerge as a key factor in gaining benefit from Agile practices and speeding the delivery of quality software through predicable processes and automation," said Steve Brodie, CEO of Electric Cloud. "Last year's event was hailed by many long-time industry influencers as the best event of the year — and this year's conference is shaping up to be even better."
DevOps and Continuous Delivery are crucial practices that leverage the value of Agile and Lean initiatives to accelerate the pace of software development. With code being developed faster, coupled with competitive and market forces requiring expedited delivery of quality software to end-users, DevOps and Continuous Delivery are enablers of the fast-paced modern development lifecycle. Unlike other conferences, this event focuses on DevOps and Continuous Delivery in large enterprises — reaching beyond practices that were first adopted by ISVs, startups and Internet companies and that have helped them succeed.
