Analyst Update: Results, Cash Distributions, Dividends,

U.S. stocks edged higher on Wednesday as better than expected earnings and strong existing home sales data bolstered investor sentiment. The NASDAQ advanced 0.42% to finish at 5,035.17, its third straight gain and just 13 points below its record close reached on March 10, 2000. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.49% or 88.35 points to 18,038.27, and the S&P 500 gained 0.50%, or 9.69 points to close the session at 2107.96. European stocks closed with a mixed note on Wednesday, depressed by increasing concern over Greece's bailout negotiations and disappointing earnings. Germany's DAX and Britain's FTSE 100 index slipped 0.6% and 0.5%, respectively, while France's CAC gained 0.36% on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Asian market continued their good run with The Shanghai Composite and Japan's Nikkei closing at new multi-year highs on Wednesday.
On April 20, 2015, shares of Legacy Reserves were trading up by 9.16% to close at $13.83. On the same day the Company announced Cash distributions of $0.166667 per unit for its 8% Series A and 8% Series B Fixed-to-Floating Rate Cumulative Redeemable Perpetual Preferred Units and provided select operating & financial information updates. The distributions will be payable on May 15, 2015 to the respective holders of record on May 1, 2015.
On April 20, 2015 the stock of VOC Energy Trust ended in the green. It closed the day higher at $5.83 up by 7.56%. On the same day VOC announced the Trust distribution of net profits for the first quarterly payment period ended March 31, 2015. According to the Company's press release, unitholders of record on April 30, 2015 will receive a distribution amounting to $2.72 million or $0.16 per unit, payable May 15, 2015.
On April 16, 2015, the Board of Directors of Genie Energy Ltd declared a first quarter 2015 dividend of $0.1594 per share of its Series 2012-A Preferred Stock. The dividend will be paid on May 15, 2015 to preferred stockholders of record as of the close of business on May 6, 2015. The ex-dividend date for the same is May 4, 2015. The Company informed that the distribution will be treated as a return of capital for tax purposes.
On April 20, 2015, the shares of Hasbro Inc. soared 12.55% to close at $74.16. The Company came out with its first quarter results on the same day. According to the Company, first quarter 2015 revenues grew 5% to $713.5 million; and excluding a negative $62.6 million impact of foreign exchange, first quarter 2015 revenues grew 14%.
Shares of Knoll Inc gained 5.35% in trade today to close at $23.82. On the same day, the Company also announced results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2015. The net sales figure came in at $266.5 million for the quarter which was 16.1% higher from the first quarter 2014 figure. Net income for the first quarter of 2015 was $17.4 million, an increase of 123.1% when compared with Q1 2014.
