Developers Selected to Rehabilitate the 36 Osage/Pine Homes, Damaged and Improperly Rebuilt During the City of Philadelphia's Response to the 1985 Move Incident, to Provide a Community Progress Report and Tour
PHILADELPHIA, Aug. 13, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Local and national media representatives are invited to join City Councilwoman Jannie Blackwell, PA State Senator Anthony H. Williams and developers AJR Endeavors during the first Osage/Pine Community Progress Report and Tour, on Wednesday, August 15, at 6212 Pine Street, at 10:00 AM, here.
The report will update the status of the 36 homes that were damaged and improperly rebuilt following the city of Philadelphia's response to the MOVE incident, in 1985.
Included in the Progress Report and Tour will be results of third-party analyses of the scope of work required at each unit, and the quality and anticipated durability of the homes; an opportunity to hear about the first two sales of the refurbished homes, to review one of the homes in the process of being rehabilitated, and to tour a completely rehabbed and furnished home.
