Design and Construction Leaders to Push Digital Project Collaboration Full Throttle at the Bluebeam International Rally Conference
Second Annual User Conference Combines Case Study Presentations from Key Users with Exhilarating Rally Car Driving Experience
PASADENA, Calif., Aug. 9, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Next month, a select group of construction industry experts and leaders in digital project communication will convene in the Pacific Northwest for the second annual Bluebeam® International Rally Conference. This special, high-octane experience hosted by Bluebeam Software is set for September 7-8 at the Salish Lodge & Spa near Seattle.
The Bluebeam IRC is a one-of-a-kind user event. Not only will attendees learn how industry leaders are leveraging Bluebeam Revu® and its integrated collaboration technology, Bluebeam Studio™, to rev up project collaboration, they will also have the opportunity to participate in a heart-pounding rally car driving competition.
"The Bluebeam IRC will be a conference like none other. This intimate gathering of key Bluebeam users will include case study presentations, networking with power users and of course, a chance to put the pedal to the metal on a nearby rally racetrack," said Stephani Haynes, Bluebeam Software VP, Global Marketing. "With all of this excitement set against the backdrop of the Salish Resort and gorgeous Pacific Northwestern landscape, the Bluebeam IRC 2012 will be an unforgettable event."
Day One of the conference will provide attendees with the chance to learn from fellow Bluebeam users and share their own knowledge and skills. Courses will include an "Ask the Developers" session and case study presentations from McCarthy Building Companies, Mortenson Construction, Turner Construction Company and Zachry Construction Corporation.
Day Two is where the rubber meets the road — literally. Attendees will get behind the wheel of a 300-horsepower Subaru WRX STi and test their driving skills on the dirt track at DirtFish Rally School. This day-long experience includes training, lunch, timed trials and a competition to see who will take home the title of 2012 Bluebeam Rally Champion.
"Bluebeam Revu enables users to challenge the norm of project workflows, work without limits and make things happen," Haynes said. "Our latest release, Revu 10, takes digital project collaboration to the extreme, and the IRC is the perfect environment to explore the power of Revu and have a whole lot of fun, too."
The Bluebeam IRC is a complimentary event with limited availability. For more details including registration information, visit www.bluebeamirc.com.
