Deseret Management Corporation Names Vice President of Program Development
Tanya Vea Brings 15 Years of Communications Experience
SALT LAKE CITY, Aug. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Deseret Management Corporation (DMC) today announced the appointment of Tanya Vea to the newly created position of Vice President of Program Development. In this new position, Vea will work with the KSL Broadcast division of DMC to develop and implement programming that strengthens existing offerings and leverages content across multiple platforms. In addition, Vea will oversee public relations for DMC.
Vea brings more than 15 years of experience in broadcast news media, advertising and strategic communications. Most recently, Vea held a senior account executive position at Kim Brown and Associates, a Salt Lake based advertising agency, where she has been since 2008. In that role she worked with a diverse group of local and national clients creating and managing advertising and public relations campaigns. Prior to that, Vea served as the News Director at KUTV 2 the CBS affiliate in Salt Lake City. She is a graduate of the University of Utah where she received the Quintus C. Wilson Alumni Achievement Award. Vea also sits on the board of The Adoption Exchange.
