Constructed from nickel chromium alloy to withstand high temperatures and pressures, Senior Aerospace SSP's Pressure Balance Compensators comply with Lockheed's Service Bulletin 82-813. The units offer excellent resistance to oxidation and corrosion and have been qualified to higher vibration and endurance levels – improving in-service reliability. The compensators include integral insulation which reduces overall part count and touch-time necessary for removal and installation. The design also eliminates lost or damaged insulation shell halves. With no spring force to overcome on assembly, the new compensators are designed to compress with less effort – resulting in reduced installation time.
"We value our partnership with Senior Aerospace SSP, and are excited to be the exclusive distributor for C-130 fleet operators worldwide," said Paul Fuhrmann, OEM Director. "These new pressure balance compensators are exemplary of continued improvements and new designs for the C-130 aircraft that offer our customers a multitude of benefits."
