Deputy Chief of Staff for Logistics, Installations and Mission Support as Guest Speaker for AFA's May Air Force Breakfast Session
ARLINGTON, Va., May 3, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Air Force Association is pleased to announce Lt. Gen. Judith A. Fedder, Deputy Chief of Staff for Logistics, Installations and Mission Support, as the guest speaker for the May session of AFA's 2012 Air Force Breakfast Program. This event will be held on Thursday, May 17, 2012, from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., at the Key Bridge Marriott in Arlington, Virginia.
In her position, Gen. Fedder is responsible to the Chief of Staff for leadership, management and integration of Air Force logistics readiness, aircraft and missile maintenance, civil engineering and security forces, as well as setting policy and preparing budget estimates that reflect enhancements to productivity, combat readiness and quality of life for Air Force people.
A career maintainer, Gen. Fedder has served as officer in charge of numerous aircraft maintenance units and as Chief of Logistics Management at the Combined Joint Task Force Headquarters for operations Proven Force and Provide Comfort at Incirlik Air Base, Turkey. She has served as Deputy Director in the Office of Legislative Liaison, Secretary of the Air Force; and as the Director of Logistics for Air Combat Command. Prior to this assignment, she was the Director of Logistics, Deputy Chief of Staff for Logistics, Installations and Mission Support.
The Air Force Breakfast Program is a monthly series that provides a venue for senior Air Force and Department of Defense leaders to communicate directly with the public and the press.
