Department of Homeland Security Selects REI Systems to Support Data Analytics and Decision Support Initiative

STERLING, Va., Oct. 24, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The Department of Homeland Security's Office of the Chief Information Officer awarded a new contract to REI Systems to implement its GovDashboard solution to help the agency support executive-level decision-making and analysis. REI will work with DHS OCIO's Enterprise System Development Office (ESDO) to support decision making across multiple business domains, including budget, finance, asset management, human capital, and portfolio planning and management. A key function of the new program will be the GovDashboard product's capability to quickly deliver integrated data analytics across business lines, leveraging REI's experience in developing Data.gov, Performance.gov, ITDashboard.gov and several other public-facing, performance analysis tools.

The technology behind GovDashboard is based on REI's groundbreaking work developing investment review and performance management dashboard solutions for the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) supporting Government CIO initiatives, most notably ITDashboard, and Performance.gov.
