Department of General Services: Capitol Restaurant to Reopen May 16
Public Invited to Meet Staff, Sample Foods at Open House
HARRISBURG, Pa., May 13, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Pennsylvania Department of General Services today announced the Capitol Restaurant, located in the Capitol East Wing, will reopen for business on May 16 – two weeks ahead of schedule.
The restaurant will be open Monday – Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Full food service will be available 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. with a limited menu between 2 p.m. and closing. Cash and credit cards will be accepted.
As part of the opening, the operator, C&J Catering, will hold a reception for the public on May 16 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Patrons can meet the restaurant staff and preview menu selections, cooking techniques and future services that will be available, such as online ordering.
