Department of Energy Chief of Staff Brandon Hurlbut to Headline Energy Innovation Events in Los Angeles
LOS ANGELES, Dec. 5, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- On Wednesday, December 7th, from 7:00pm – 10:00pm, Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator, the Pew Charitable Trusts, the Southern California Gas Company and the L.A. Area Chamber of Commerce are co-hosting Fostering Cleantech Innovation in Los Angeles, which will feature an entertaining and informative panel discussion exploring the future of energy policy in America, and how Los Angeles can play a pivotal role in our nation's clean-energy future. The event is open to the public, and will be held at the La Kretz Innovation Campus in downtown Los Angeles - the future home of LACI.

DOE Chief of Staff Brandon Hurlbut will discuss the department's current initiatives and ambitious plans to stimulate private and public sector energy innovation, and Marine Corps Installations West Deputy Commander Col. Mike Naylor will deliver a presentation describing the Marine Corps' forward-thinking energy initiatives.
