DentalPlans.com Executive Honored for Work in Human Resources

PLANTATION, Fla., March 14, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- DentalPlans.com's Senior Human Resources Director Olga Patarroyo was honored as an "outstanding HR professional" at South Florida Business & Wealth (SFBW) magazine's second annual Excellence in Human Resource Awards. The unique awards program, which recognizes the region's top HR professionals in 13 different industry-specific categories, was held at the Weston Country Club on March 9.

More than 300 people attended the awards event, which was sponsored by StevenDouglas, Celebrity Cruises, Ultimate Software and more. The celebratory evening included a reception then an awards program, which recognized 29 HR professionals in the following categories: Accounting; Banking & Financial Services; Education; Health Care; Hospitality; Insurance; Legal; Marketing & Public Relations; Non-Profit; Real Estate & Construction; Technology; Transportation & Logistics; and Lifetime Achievement Award.

Patarroyo joined DentalPlans.com in 2015 serving as the company's Senior Human Resources Director. She is dedicated to implementing and administering all areas of Human Resources for the company. Additionally, her specialized psychology background has allowed her to further develop and motivate employees as well as implement necessary companywide HR initiatives.
