Dental supply collection at Xcel Energy Center set for Minnesota Wild game on Feb. 8
Associated Bank's Stock the Box™ for Healthy Smiles campaign to benefit Union Gospel Mission Twin Cities
ST. PAUL, Minn., Feb. 2, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- A dental supply collection will take place on Wednesday, Feb. 8 prior to the Minnesota Wild-Chicago Blackhawks game at 7 p.m. at Xcel Energy Center. Fans attending the game will have the opportunity to donate new dental supplies and monetary donations that will benefit children and adults through Union Gospel Mission Twin Cities' Hope Dental Clinic, which provides free dental services to community members in the greater Twin Cities area.
"Union Gospel Mission Twin Cities is pleased to be the recipient of these dental products that will help children and adults in the Twin Cities area who need them most," said Jessica Flotterud, executive director of Hope Dental Clinic at Union Gospel Mission Twin Cities. "These supplies will be provided to our patients at the clinic, at pediatric and adult treatment events, and our outreach program that serves 1,000 preschoolers in Ramsey County each school year."
Items such as adult and child toothbrushes and toothpaste, floss, flossers and mouth rinse (preferably alcohol-free) can be dropped off at Xcel Energy Center gates 1 – 4 and outside section 104 until mid-way through the first period. Monetary donations will be accepted outside section 104 through the end of the game.
The collection event serves as the launch of Associated Bank's Stock the Box™ for Healthy Smiles campaign that will also take place in Minnesota and Western Wisconsin branches through Feb. 24. Those interested in donating new dental supplies who are unable to attend the Wild game on Feb. 8 are encouraged to bring items to their local Associated Bank branch.
"Associated Bank is excited to partner with Union Gospel Mission Twin Cities for this first-ever dental supply collection that will benefit adults and children right here in our community," said Anna Dosen, market executive, Associated Bank. "Our Stock the Box™ for Healthy Smiles campaign is a great way to give back to the community and bring awareness to National Children's Dental Health Month."
