Denham, Rabun Re-Elected as Officers of Oglethorpe Power
ATLANTA, March 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Benny W. Denham of Sycamore, Ga. has been re-elected to an eighth term as chairman of the Oglethorpe Power Corporation Board of Directors and J. Sam L. Rabun of Louisville, Ga. has been chosen for an eleventh term as vice chairman. The elections took place at the conclusion of Oglethorpe Power's Annual Meeting of Members in Atlanta. Denham and Rabun will each serve a one-year term.
During the Annual Meeting, George L. Weaver, President of Central Georgia Electric Membership Corporation (EMC), was elected to the Oglethorpe Power Board.
Denham, a member of the Irwin Electric Membership Corporation (EMC) Board, is an at-large member of the 13-member Oglethorpe Power Board. Rabun, a member of the Jefferson Energy Cooperative Board, is a scheduling member group representative on the Oglethorpe Power Board.
