DemandTec Announces Winners of the 2011 DemandTec Innovation Awards
Award recipients celebrate significant benefits of collaborative merchandising, marketing, and sales planning with DemandTec
SAN FRANCISCO, May 11, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- DemandTec, Inc. (NASDAQ: DMAN), the collaborative optimization network for retailers and consumer products companies, today announced the winners of the inaugural DemandTec Innovation Awards. Award recipients were honored at the Tuesday evening banquet during DemandBetter 2011, DemandTec's ninth annual global customer conference currently taking place at the Palace Hotel in San Francisco.
The DemandTec Innovation Awards is an annual, global awards program that recognizes the best uses of DemandTec's software and analytical services by retailers and consumer products companies. Nominations were evaluated by an objective, six-person judging panel comprised of industry analysts, publishing executives, and industry consortium leaders. Award winners were selected based on their ability to highlight how DemandTec services have positively impacted their business.
Five awards were given in two categories, "Business Enablement" and "Most Revolutionary". The Business Enablement category examined how customers use DemandTec to boost productivity, improve collaboration, and drive new revenues by automating and streamlining marketing and merchandising processes. The Most Revolutionary category considered how DemandTec transforms the merchandising, marketing, and sales planning experience and pushes the boundaries of innovation for customers.
