Deltacom Combines Land Line and Wireless Minutes with Converged Option for Integrated Access Services
HUNTSVILLE, Ala., Sept. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- ITC^DeltaCom, Inc. (OTC: ITCD), a leading provider of integrated communications services to customers in the southeastern United States, today announced availability of a new Converged Minutes plan that integrates land line and business-class wireless minutes. Available as an option with its integrated access services, including Simpli-Business(SM), this option empowers businesses to share minutes under a flexible and predictable pricing structure.
The Converged Minutes plan merges long distance landline and mobile line minutes, as well as bundles minutes across multiple locations into a single aggregate package. Each Deltacom integrated access bundle includes packaged minutes plus a free mobile line. Additional mobile lines are available for a flat monthly fee. Customers may add extra blocks of long distance and mobile minutes or an extra block of exclusively long distance minutes as needed for an additional fee. Customer benefits include predictable, easy to understand rates and standard overage rates for both land and mobile lines.
"Offering customers the ability to select a shared pool of both land line and Simpli-Mobile(SM) wireless long distance minutes empowers them to maximize operational efficiency without managing complex rate plans across multiple vendors," said Barbara Dondiego, Deltacom Senior Vice President of Marketing and Product Development. "Our customers tell us they want Deltacom to take on more of their communications functionality. This innovative plan is an example of how we make that request a reality. We continue to focus on investing in new value added services for customers, reducing their total cost of ownership and allowing them more time to focus on building their businesses while we focus on building their networks."
