Delta to Start New Nonstop Service between Dickinson, N.D. and Minneapolis-St. Paul

ATLANTA, Feb. 25, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Delta Air Lines (NYSE:DAL) will add two daily flights between Dickinson's Theodore Roosevelt Regional Airport in Dickinson, N.D. and Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport, effective June 10, 2013.

"Delta's commitment to providing two daily flights between Dickinson and Minneapolis-St. Paul will help us meet the transportation needs of this growing region of North Dakota," said North Dakota Gov. Jack Dalrymple. "Boardings at Dickinson's Theodore Roosevelt Regional Airport have risen significantly and this expanded jet service will enhance the region's access to the nation and world."

The new service will be operated by Delta Connection carrier SkyWest Airlines using 50-seat CRJ-200 regional jets. Last year, Delta also added service to Williston, N.D., where the Bakken oil reserves were first discovered.

"With Delta's plan for new flights in and out of Dickinson twice a day, the city will have access to two major hubs, Minneapolis to the east and Denver to the west helping western North Dakota meet the demand for expanded air service owing to a growing economy."
