Before joining Delta Risk, Wainwright served in leadership positions with multiple consulting firms, including Booz Allen, that provided cybersecurity services and products to the Department of Defense and other government agencies. 

Prior to entering the commercial sector, Wainwright served more than 20 years in the United States Air Force in various roles supporting cyber operations across the globe. During his service, he supported numerous operations, including Desert Shield/Desert Storm, Operation Southern Watch, Operation Allied Force, and Operation Iraqi Freedom.  

Wainwright is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), and his academic background includes a BA in Human Resource Management from Saint Leo University, an MS in Computer Resource and Information Management from Webster University, and an MS in Command and Control, Computers, and Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C3I) from the Air Force Institute of Technology.
