Delta Faucet Facebook Sweepstakes Asks Users to Select Their Unique Shower Style for the Chance to Win More Than $1,000 in Prizes
INDIANAPOLIS, Oct. 29, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- What's your shower style? Whether it's the first thing you do when you wake up in the morning or part of your daily bedtime ritual, the routine you follow in the shower is a personal experience, which can be influenced by a number of factors. This fall, Delta Faucet will ask its Facebook fans to reveal what gets them in the shower; offering its fans the chance to win a shower prize package that includes a new In2ition® two-in-one shower featuring H2Okinetic™ technology, along with a $1,000 VISA® gift card to execute their design vision.
Instinctively, most people assume their showering style is just like everyone else's, but Paul Patton, senior product development manager for Delta Faucet Company, says research shows otherwise.
"Whether you start from the top and work your way down, wash your body before your hair, power through the motions methodically or slowly let the warm water envelop you as you shower, your shower is a unique experience. That said, through our research, we've identified eight primary functions that can influence the shower process. From pain relief and relaxation to hygiene, recreation and more, showering can take on many different forms and meanings," said Patton. "In this spirit, we look forward to promoting our fans' diversity by asking them to identify their shower category and entering for a chance to win in our Eight Reasons to Shower Sweepstakes."
Beginning October 29 and continuing through December 2, Delta Faucet will encourage its Facebook fans to enter the sweepstakes for the chance to win one of five prize packages. To enter, users simply "like" the Delta Faucet Facebook page and click on the sweepstakes tab to select the thumbnail photo that best represents the reason they shower. During each week of the sweepstakes, a winner will be selected randomly from the entry pool—for a total of five winners.
Introduced to the market in September 2012, Delta® In2ition showers featuring H2Okinetic technology create the feeling of more water without using more water. In2ition showers feature an integrated handshower that can run separately or simultaneously, offering the warmth and flexibility of two streams of water at once, and the freedom for the user to decide how and where the water is directed. MagnaTite docking, a system of powerful integrated magnets, holds the handshower in place when not in use.
