OAK BROOK, Ill., Jan. 11, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Delta Dental Plans Association (DDPA) Board of Directors has appointed three new officers. President and CEO of Delta Dental of Washington, Mr. Jim Dwyer, was elected chair, and Mr. Rodney A. Young, president and CEO of Delta Dental of Minnesota, was elected vice chair. Elected as secretary/treasurer was Mr. Allan Allford, president and CEO of Delta Dental of Arizona.

Also making three new appointments to its Board of Directors was the separately incorporated affiliate of DDPA, DeltaUSA, which enables Delta Dental to centrally administer national or multi-state dental benefits programs. Mr. Allan Allford, president and CEO of Delta Dental of Arizona, has been named chair, and Mr. Dennis Wilson, president and CEO of Delta Dental of New Jersey, has been named vice chair. Ms. Belinda Martinez, president of Delta Dental Insurance Company, has been elected secretary/treasurer.
Both the DDPA and DeltaUSA Board of Directors made the appointments at their October meetings and the officers' terms became effective January 1, 2017.
