FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Feb. 13, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Delphi Behavioral Health Group, a leading nationwide provider of detox and addiction treatment programs, announced today the appointment of Dr. Neeraj Gandotra, MD as the company's new Chief Medical Officer (CMO). Dr. Gandotra will be coming onboard full time this Spring.
With over a decade of experience in the field of behavioral science, specifically focusing on the interface of mental illness and substance use disorders, Dr. Gandotra is double board certified in both General Psychiatry and Addiction Psychiatry. He currently serves as an instructor at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, as well as the medical director at both the Center for Addiction and Pregnancy (CAP) and Addiction Treatment Services (ATS) at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Gandotra is a member of the American Psychiatric Association and the Washington Psychiatric Society, and is also an Assistant Professor at Howard University Hospital. He also works closely with the Maryland Attorney General on cases of physician misconduct, specifically those involving controlled substances.

Dr. Gandotra completed his fellowship in Addiction Psychiatry at Yale University, after completing his residency at Howard University Hospital and earning his medical degree from Universidad Iberoamericana Escuela de Medicina in the Dominican Republic. He also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.
