Leading Health Group Teams Up With Investment Firm to Continue Building Addiction Platform
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Oct. 10, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Delphi Behavioral Health Group, a leading nationwide provider of addiction and detox treatment programs, announced today their partnership and recapitalization with private investment firm, The Halifax Group ("Halifax"). Halifax partnered with Delphi CEO Dominic Sirianni in the investment, and along with the Delphi management team will retain a meaningful ownership position in the company. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Headquartered in Fort Lauderdale, FL, Delphi Behavioral Health Group's family of treatment centers offers patients a variety of individualized programs to begin the process of recovery from addiction. Each treatment center is equipped with a team of highly trained addiction specialists and follows the company's philosophy on addiction care, which includes a high clinician-to-patient ratio, intimate settings, and comprehensive, tailored treatment solutions, including cognitive and behavioral therapies, aftercare services and relapse prevention.
"Delphi and Halifax have a shared vision to provide outstanding individual, group and family therapy and care to all those we have the opportunity to serve," commented Mr. Sirianni. "Halifax's history and experience investing in the healthcare sector will be helpful to our mission as we continue growing our reach and striving to offer exceptional clinical treatment to those in need. This sponsorship will enable us to increase the size of our network, expand our outpatient and after care programs, and fortify our internal infrastructure and systems to combat what has become a national epidemic."
"We believe our partnership with The Halifax Group will accelerate our growth strategy and enable us to provide services to combat the opiate crisis we face today," said Michael Borkowski, CFO at Delphi.
"I'm proud of the role I had in forming this patient-centered provider platform, and I've been continually impressed with management's ability to execute dynamically in what has become a complex operating landscape," said Ryan Collison, founder of DHG. "I think this partnership is a great fit for all involved and I look forward to seeing what Delphi does in the future."
