Deloitte Honored With Multiple Awards For Fifth Consecutive Year
NEW YORK, Sept. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Deloitte announced today that it received top honors in four categories of the Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN), North America Titan 2010 Partner Awards. This is the fifth consecutive year that Oracle has honored Deloitte with multiple Titan awards as a systems integrator (SI). Deloitte received the awards for the following categories: Consumer Industry Solution, Global SI Applications Momentum, Manufacturing and Distribution Solution, and Oracle Red Stack Solution. The awards were presented at OPN Forum held during Oracle OpenWorld in San Francisco on Sunday, September 19.
Deloitte also received honorable mentions in eight categories: CRM Solution, Supply Chain Management Solution, Financial Services Industry Solution, Public Sector Solution, Services Industry Solution, Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing Solution, E2.0 and Content Management Solution, and Technology Momentum.

The following are brief descriptions of the categories won by Deloitte:
- Consumer Industry Solution -- After multiple acquisitions, a business unit of a national food and agricultural company found that disparate processes and systems were preventing it from operating as a single integrated business with its customers. To enable this business transformation, the company chose to implement several JD Edwards EnterpriseOne suites as well as Oracle Transportation Management, which enables the business to operate as a single company, with benefits from the program achieving the target return on investment of between 25 and 30 percent.
- Global SI Applications Momentum -- This award recognizes achievements in marketing, sales and team engagement in support of Oracle's strategic vision. Deloitte had another banner year in growing Oracle applications revenue during Oracle's 2010 fiscal year. Deloitte concluded the year with several No. 1 rankings and recognitions in North America.
- Manufacturing and Distribution Solution -- This engagement moved one of North America's largest custom manufacturers of both national and retailer brand consumer products from an unsupported legacy system to JD Edwards EnterpriseOne on Red Stack. The solution, which went live two months before the target date and under budget, provided the organization with a state-of-the-art, scalable architecture on a highly stable platform that has reduced the time required to close its financial month, gain better control over production planning and execution, improve inventory accuracy and decrease procurement cycle time.
- Oracle Red Stack Solution -- This engagement helped a leading provider of industry-specific IT solutions to streamline its opportunity-to-cash process. The solution drew upon the capabilities of several technologies across Oracle's Red Stack to enable the company to consolidate several CRM instances all into one instance, make the sales pipeline visible across the entire business and to link the quote to the opportunity wherever the sales representative is working.
