NEW YORK, Jan. 15, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Deloitte announced today that Trina Huelsman has been appointed vice chairman, Deloitte LLP, and leader of the process and industrial products practice in the United States, effective immediately. Huelsman succeeds Craig Giffi, who will continue to serve as Deloitte's automotive practice leader.
Huelsman will head the process and industrial products practice that serves more than 80 percent of the Fortune 1000 manufacturing companies across the chemicals, materials and industrial sectors. She will be responsible for the development and implementation of key sector initiatives and will work with senior management of the organization's leading clients. Huelsman is based in Chicago.

Huelsman was most recently the audit and enterprise risk services leader for the process and industrial products sector, and has nearly two decades of experience advising clients in the chemicals, steel, paper/forest products, and industrial products industries.

Huelsman has also held leadership roles in Deloitte's women's initiative, internal training and professional development, and has spoken at external industry conferences and events.
