NEW YORK, March 27, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Deloitte announced today that Deloitte Digital Chief Marketing Officer Alicia Hatch has been named one of Adweek's "Top Tech-Savvy CMOs" in a special feature published in the March 27 issue. This marks the first time that Adweek has profiled the industry's leading marketers who have mastered technology to amplify their messaging. The 16 CMOs showcased represent the best use of sophisticated digital tools – from branded content, mobile and social to augmented reality/virtual reality and artificial intelligence – as part of their brand's marketing mix.
"Technology adoption and driving digital transformation are part of the expanding role of the CMO. Alicia brings that expertise to bear at Deloitte Digital as a creative digital consultancy, and allows us to provide companies with all the support they need to deliver relevant, engaging experiences across all consumer touchpoints – bringing our clients ambitions to life," said Andy Main, principal, Deloitte Consulting LLP and head of Deloitte Digital U.S. "I'm thrilled to see the industry formally recognize her talent and contributions that have been benefiting so many brands for so many years."
Hatch, a digital marketing veteran, has spent the past 20 years pushing the boundaries in marketing for Fortune 500 brands. During her time at Deloitte Digital, Hatch has served as a source for insight and commentary into the latest industry trends, including the role of technology in marketing, the future of artificial intelligence and social media, and has spoken at numerous industry conferences including Cannes Lions Festival, FutureM, DMEXCO, Dreamforce and SXSW.
Before Deloitte Digital, Hatch built a leading digital agency, Banyan Branch, which innovated on the use of social media data to power digital marketing. Before Banyan Branch, she was a senior business development manager at Microsoft, where she participated in the business development strategy of the XBOX and the Halo video game franchise. Banyan Branch was acquired by Deloitte in 2013.
