Deloitte Becomes a Thomson Reuters Certified Implementer
NEW YORK, Sept. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- The Tax & Accounting business of Thomson Reuters today announced that Deloitte is the second firm to become a Thomson Reuters Certified Implementer (CI) for various ONESOURCE tax software products. Initiated earlier this year, Thomson Reuters created the CI program to provide accounting and consulting firms with the training and support they may need when working with Thomson Reuters products selected by corporate tax and accounting departments.
To address the escalating demand from multinational corporations (MNCs) for tax and accounting technology solutions, Thomson Reuters' offerings have become more sophisticated and complex. "The implementation by clients of Thomson Reuters' innovative technology and engagement of Deloitte provides that corporate clients receive enhanced service in conjunction with ONESOURCE WorkFlow, Income Tax and Provision products," said Brian Peccarelli, president, Workflow & Service Solutions.
As a CI, Deloitte will be given extended training and ongoing support. "We are very excited about becoming a Certified Implementer," said Nick Gonnella, managing partner, tax management services, Deloitte Tax LLP and global tax management consulting leader. "We are looking forward to expanding our knowledge and further developing our service capabilities of the Thomson Reuters products."
The tax management consulting group of Deloitte is a team of more than 800 tax and technology professionals with extensive experience helping organizations enhance their tax function and tax operations through the following services: tax planning and operations, tax risk management, tax data and information management, tax technology and systems integration, tax process improvement, and tax organization and resources.
With over 100,000 users in 80 countries worldwide, in markets covering 70 percent of world GDP, ONESOURCE is quickly becoming the MNC's choice for a tax and accounting solution. As the CI list grows, MNCs are increasingly assured that the global accounting, advisory and consulting firms that serve them are knowledgeable on the ONESOURCE suite of products from the Tax & Accounting business of Thomson Reuters.
