SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 24, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- In advance of Dreamforce 2018, Deloitte announced the launch of its new Salesforce Global Assets and Solutions group. This addition to Deloitte's market-leading global alliance with Salesforce offers a combination of deep industry experience from Deloitte Digital with the Salesforce platform, creating cutting-edge assets and solutions designed to reimagine the future for forward-looking organizations embarking on digital transformations.
"We are thrilled to announce our new Global Assets and Solutions group," said Kevin Walsh, partner and global consulting technology leader, Deloitte MCS Limited. "This group was created to leverage Salesforce's cloud applications to deliver innovative industry solutions for our clients."
The vision for this assets and solutions group is to serve global clients and focus on industry sectors and solutions to further differentiate Deloitte Digital's capabilities with clients now and into the future. Clients can benefit from this joint commitment through enhanced customer and employee engagement, faster speed to market, and lower cost of ownership. The initial focus sectors will include healthcare, life sciences, public sector and energy and resources industries. Additional sectors and functional areas will be added over time.
"We are excited to be teaming with Deloitte on their assets group to help companies across industries improve their engagement with customers, as well as their day-to-day operations," said Tyler Prince, EVP, Industries and Partners, Salesforce. "This new group creates powerful solutions that help drive innovation and speed-to-value for our joint customers."
Deloitte has been innovating technology assets for clients for many years, including Patient Connect™, a highly scalable platform that uses the Salesforce Health Cloud to effectively engage patients and create a collaborative environment for health care networks. Patient Connect™ is just one example of the type of asset to be created with the new Deloitte Digital group.
"This is the next logical step for our Global Salesforce Practice to maintain our premium brand in the market," said Paul Clemmons, principal, Deloitte Consulting LLP, and global Salesforce alliance leader. "We will apply lessons from clients, from our existing ISV solutions and from our participation in the Salesforce Fullforce Program to create new assets and solutions that are relevant to our clients."
