Delmarva Foundation Launches Redesigned QIO Websites
EASTON, Md., March 21, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Delmarva Foundation announced its newly redesigned websites, www.mdqio.org and www.dcqio.org, for the Maryland Quality Improvement Organization (MDQIO) and the District of Columbia Quality Improvement Organization (DCQIO) today.
The websites, which are now "one-stop shops" for patients and providers, are part of ongoing efforts by Quality Health Strategies, LLC, Delmarva Foundation's parent corporation, to update all of its subsidiaries' websites.
"I am thrilled that our newly redesigned websites are so customer-oriented," said Colleen McNally, Delmarva Foundation's Vice President of Medicare Operations. "They will be gateways to all resources for our current quality improvement initiatives as well as connection points for stakeholders with similar needs and interests in healthcare."
"They will also give beneficiaries and families access to the resources they need to be active participants in their healthcare and provide information on how to request assistance when barriers arise," she said.
Delmarva Foundation for Medical Care, Inc. and its sister organization, Delmarva Foundation of the District of Columbia, Inc. are the quality improvement organizations contracted by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services for Maryland and the District of Columbia, respectively.
