Delaware Place Bank, Chicago Names Brad Schotanus Senior Vice President/ Senior Lender
CHICAGO, Aug. 17, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Delaware Place Bank, today announced that Bradley J. Schotanus, 44, was promoted to senior vice president/senior lender of the commercial banking department, responsible for overseeing client management, business development and further growth of the Bank's commercial banking activities in the Chicago market.
Since joining the Bank in 2007, Schotanus had been senior vice president, commercial lending. Prior to that, he had served as senior vice president and commercial team leader at Associated Bank, Chicago.
Schotanus has over 20 years experience in financial services including private industry as well as commercial banking. He has worked in many facets of banking including lending to privately-held businesses, construction and commercial real estate lending, wealth management and business development.
He received his Bachelor of Science degree in finance from the Indiana University, Bloomington. Active in civic affairs, Schotanus currently serves on the board of directors of the Daniel Murphy Scholarship Fund and is a past board member and treasurer of St. Edward School, Chicago. He and his family reside in Chicago.
