Delaware North is Hosting the Inaugural Gridiron Chef Tailgate Throwdown for Packers Tailgaters at Lambeau Field

Green Bay Packers fans invited to showcase their top tailgating and game day recipes for a chance to win prizes and have their food featured on the game day menu at Lambeau Field.

GREEN BAY, Wis., June 18, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The Green Bay Packers and Delaware North Companies Sportservice, the team's food and beverage partner at Lambeau Field, are inviting fans to enter their favorite tailgating recipe for a chance to compete in the Gridiron Chef Throwdown cook-off.

"Packers fans are among the best tailgaters in the world, we are simply offering them a chance to share their game day menu with the world," said Sportservice General Manager at Lambeau Field Charlie Millerwise. "Sportservice understands delicious food and the Gridiron Chef Throwdown is our way of recognizing fellow culinarians and acknowledging their talents."

"Packers fans are so passionate about tailgating that on Sundays, the streets are quiet and the tailgating is plenteous. To enter, fans must submit a detailed menu and list of ingredients showcasing their best tailgate or game day party recipes by July 6, 2014. The top four recipe submissions will be selected by Sportservice and the Packers. Finalists must be available to compete in a cook-off event at Lambeau Field during training camp. The winning recipe will be available at a concession stand at Lambeau Field during the 2014-2015 Packers season.

Additional prizes include a complimentary entry in the Ultimate Packers Fan Chevy 'Packers Edition' Silverado Sweepstakes, Packers memorabilia, Chevy merchandise, and four tickets in a suite to watch the Packers take on the Jets in the regular season home opener.
